What are layers? Are there different kinds of layers? and please post pics.
What are layers?
LAyers are when your hair is cut to different lengths to either create different effects (more hair, thicker hair, different shape, etc.), help remove some of the weight before the hottest season of the month or just for style! Here are some pics:

obviously they can be blended in so they%26#039;re barely visible or they can stand out. Any length you want, any angle you want.

What are layers?
Layers are when different parts of your hair are a different length. Usually the top part of your hair is shorter, then gets longer towards the bottom. It is supposed to add volume and look less boring than a normal straight haircut.
