Hair dye question?

If you have a bottle of hair dye, and before it%26#039;s mixed- does it get to be un-reusable after you MIX the two bottles, or after the bottles are opened? So if you mix the two parts of the hair dye into a separate bottle, would you be able to close the original bottles and reuse them some time in the future?
Hair dye question?
You can%26#039;t save the hairdye after you mix it.
Hair dye question?
after you open the hair dye bottles you cant use them again you have to use it as soon as you open it, it doesnt stay effective that long
Reply:So you mean you take like half the color cream, and half the liquidy stuff and put it in a seperate container to mix it and keep the left overs for future use? I suppose you could but once it%26#039;s been open and exposed to the air I don%26#039;t know if it would be as effective. I also wouldn%26#039;t suggest you use only portions of the hair dye, there is a reason they come already set up for you, two little or two much of an ingredient in the hair dye may have adverse effects you don%26#039;t want!
Reply:Once you open the bottle and mix the color and developer, the mixture will oxidize, rendering it ineffective after a certain amount of time. Hair color will only work for about 45 minutes to 1 hour at the very most. If you want to try to save the color in the separate bottles, I would suggest closing the lids extremely tightly. When you go to open them again and the color looks blackish-greenish, it has already oxidized and can no longer be used.
Reply:okay, if you mix the full contents then no, you can%26#039;t save it. its oxidizes and becomes unusable.

if you open the containers, mix half of one and half of the other in a separate container and close them, yes you can reuse what wasn%26#039;t mixed.
