Hair help!?

my hair when i put mosse/gel on it looks kinda like this but frizzier

should i cut in in layers?


becuase i have ALOT will it look better?


will it look curlier?

i dont think layers are that great for people with really curly hair like you.





If your hair is like that though, I am extremely jealous.





Shorter haircuts are in though! I bet a cut just below the shoulders would look reallly cute on you with all those curls!

you can try a hair straightener (but not everyday bc it can be damaging for the hair) it works better if you have layers ... If you decide to use a straightener during the summer it can get pretty frizzy. also, John Freida has a lot of products out there for frizzy hair
Reply:I personally have very thick curly hair. When my hair is long i find it easier to have layers. Without layers your hair may look poofy; especially at the bottom. My hair dresser also uses texturizer scissors in my hair which helps to thin it out. Find a good hairstylist who is use to working with curly hair and see if they can give you any suggestions. Also, make sure not to cut your hair too short as this will also make it look fuller.
Reply:If you feel you have to much hair you can have your hair dresser surf the edges of your hair. Which means they hold a section out, slide a razor down to the end and it will thin it out without taking chucks out.





Then you will need to use a good shampoo for curly hair and one that will also lock out humidity and mositure. Matrix has a good line for curly hair.





Depend penatrating conditioning treatments under a dryer also helps.





Now as a last resort I have permed naturally curlly hair on large perm rods and rinsed like for 5 minutes with the waving solution and then for the neutralizer another 5 minutes to make the hair less frizzy and less curly.





But usually the longer the hair the more it will pull out the curl.

i wish my hair was like that i have no sympathy for you!


just use a good leave in conditioner that you%26#039;d use when your hair is wet and use a diffuser (an attatchment for your blowdryer)
