What is a good hair style for a 54 year old mother of adult married children,?

who is slim, trim, but has very fine, thin hair. Right now it is in a bob of sorts shorter in back longer toward front. Some say I should go very short and use products to make it look thicker. I don%26#039;t like the harsh spiky look as my face cheeks sag some and it makes me look older. Any suggestions?

you should get some layers done in your hair and go for a nice chesnut brown colour to make it more thick looking.

wear whatr you like and dont limit yourself to %26quot;old%26quot; people dos
Reply:try a mullet.
Reply:DO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR SHORT. It is so over done and will age you. You could get a cut like this:

Reply:Do a shorter pixie cut with short layers on top to create more volume (adding the illusion of more hair... yay!). Super cute and low maintenance.
Reply:Sounds like you have a graduated bob - any bob is a good cut for fine, thin hair. You could go with one length, a layered bob or just have the one you have recut. Try not to have the length in front cut at the chin as that will accentuate any sag so either go a bit shorter than chin length or a bit longer.

Just use a shampoo designed for volumizing fine thin hair. A little moose will help hold any flip you put in the ends without making it spikey.
Reply:Shoulder length bobs are totally in style. If your hair is thinning try a shorter bob. Maybe add some curls for a thicker look.
Reply:yeah...I didn%26#039;t know adult, married children had anything to do with hair...

If you know what you like and don%26#039;t like, then I%26#039;d suggest going to a salon (like you haven%26#039;t been to one before) and looking through books..

The longer your hair, the more it pulls your face %26#039;down%26#039;...so the sagging looks bad. Shorter is better...(and easier to put up with...)

Dying it also will help with the %26#039;fine%26#039; part...it coats the hair with product for at least 4-6 wks.
Reply:Bald is pretty sexy, and keeps you cool for the summer

I think this will be just the look for you. Gives you feminity and can make your hair look thicker also. Good luck
