Price estimate for a full head of highlights/streaks?

so im going to go get streaks/highlights [dont know the difference] in my hair soon but im going to get them everywhere. i want blonde so obviously it has to be bleached but im not sure how it works. do they bleach %26amp; DYE to get the color blonde i want or .. tone it .. ? not sure how it works but thats besides the point. my question is i need an estimate on how much it would be ? my hair is about 3/4 of an inch past my bra strap in the back [if that makes any sence]. thanks !

yea it would be about 65/70 dollars depending on the beautician! u can actually do it yourself if u want %26quot;bleached%26quot; highlights.

Reply:it depends on where you live. If you go to your local beauty school I can tell you it will cost 75% less than a salon.
Reply:depending on where you go it would be at least 50, if not more. when they do highlights (streaks are the same thing) they will bleach your hair and then add a toner to get it to the color you want if needed. if you go somewhere like great clips or hair cutterey, one of the chain salons, it will be cheaper than other places. but try getting recommendations from friends as to where to go. go somewhere you trust regardless of price. i dye my own hair all the time and went to cosmetology school and even i rarely use bleach.
Reply:i got mine done by my sister in law, and she did it really cheap, all i really had to do was pay for the dye, and uh it was about 21, so you need to find some one you know that does hair(you know personaly not from your salon), and have them do it! its cheeper, and you know your hairs in good hands

Looking at your photo it looks about the length and thickness mine was the last time I got mine done.. and it cost me $75.. so yeahh.
Reply:First of all streaks are thick strips and highlight are thin strips of hair. They both give a totally different look so I suggest you goggle images to see the difference. Depending on the stylist the will probably bleach your hair and then put a toner on top. With the length of your hair you can expect to pay 80 dollars and up easily. If you wear your hair down most of the time I recommend only getting the crown of your head done. It will save you time and money. Plus you can always go back and get the bottom half done.
