Short or long hair on guys?

I%26#039;m gonna cut my hair soon like really short because it%26#039;s getting a little long and it feals nasty after I get outta the water so I was just trying to get a preference on it with looks, it wouldn%26#039;t be a flat buzz, I%26#039;d still have a little hair left, little stub I guess... would that look really bad? I%26#039;m 15... guy, brown hair. I have naturally bad hair as well lol.
